I suggest the two players are playing with different goals (looking for different items and different destinations.)
e.g. P1 is looking for the totem to bury it in the graveyard as the original, while P2 is to find a bomb from the storage and put it in the evil temple. They both win if they achieve their goals before 12. If one of them fails, the other one must get to the garage before 12, or else both fail.
We can even decide the goals randomly like this: the player who first enter the temple must finish Goal B(look for the bomb), or the player who goes outside first must finish Goal A(get the totem).

Yeah, that would be a very different game. This is just 2 players both playing ZimP in one house. They can work as a team, or screw each other over. I intend for them both to have the same goal, as it maintains the finely built semi-cooperative nature.

But do make a thread about your idea, it sounds interesting.
