The first stage of the Void Demon print on demand project is now up and running at the SJVP website. I say the first stage because this product is just the event cards and the playing pieces, plus the download. The playing pieces have been upgraded a little bit, and some of the pieces have been back printed. For, instance, the back side of the character tokens say "Horrified," to facilitate tracking their status. Not a major change, but a small nod to make playing easier. I have a set of the components on order myself and I will put pictures and maybe a video up.The price for this product is $55 (includes shipping to the United States; for international orders the shipping will have to be calculated, but SJVP will deduct the price of domestic shipping)...that includes a download of the entire game, and printed cards and playing pieces (which are the only pieces which require assembly...pretty much everything else can either be printed out, and maybe cut out, like the character cards, or just left on the computer for reference). Honestly that's a pretty good deal for this one of a kind gaming experience.
For those of you who have already purchased a digital copy, worry not; expect an email from SJVP in the coming days with options.
I am also having all of the components uploaded, so a complete printed game will be available. I think the final complete printed game will be a spectacular product, however, I'm guessing the final price will be $70 or $80 before shipping, so this hybrid product gives people a more affordable option.
