It's like many battles in history, where, on paper, the side that lost should have easily won. Factors like morale, or the overeagerness of soldiers, like the Saxons, who snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, are outside simple numbers and other factors that are so easy to portray in a game. It's been cool to see those less tangible, but equally important variables being worked into games over the years! It gives a better feel for actually replaying the battles and exploring real what-ifs.↧
